Andrea Pimazzoni started playing saxophone with Italian-Canadian Saxophonist Robert Bonisolo, then he continued his studies at Trento Conservatory with Franco D'Andrea and Roberto Cipelli (obtaining the final diplomas both in Saxophone and Jazz). He attended various masterclasses with internationally renowned jazz musicians like Joe Lovano, Chris Cheek, Gary Dial, Pietro Tonolo, Enrico Rava, Jim Snidero, Mike Abene, Garrison Fewel, Paolo Birro, Francesco Bearzatti, Renato Chicco, Bruno Tommaso, Marco Tamburini, Riccardo Zegna, Stefano Zenni, Claudio Corvini, Furio Dicastri, Bruno Tommaso, Zoran Rebrovick and others. From a very young age Andrea Pimazzoni has played with several groups, starting with the "University Big Band" and the "Verona Improvisers Big Band", then collecting many other collaborations with various jazz group and musicians. Among these it is worth mentioning Orchestra Ottovolante led by Mauro Ottolini, Valerio Abeni Trio, Giulio Corini, Bruno Tommaso, Picatrix Quartet led by Davide Recchia, Giordano Grossi Trio, Concept Trio, Layers Progressions Quartet, Luciano Federighi Duo, Nelide Bandello, Stefano Colpi, George Malfertheiner, Enzo Zirilli, Yuri Goloubev, Paolo Birro, Kyle Gregory, Marco Carlesso, Roberto Caon, Mark Abrams, Stefano Senni, Mauro Beggio, Roberto Cipelli, Domenico Santaniello, Marcello Tonolo, and others. He took part in many jazz festivals, such as: Garda Jazz Festival, Vicenza Jazz Festival, Ivrea Jazz Festival, Trentino Jazz Festival, Multicurita Summer in Capurso (Bari), Bassano Jazz Festival, Merano Jazz Festival, Cittadella Jazz Festival, Comacchio Jazz Festival, Brain Zone Music Festival and others. In the landscape of Italian pop and singer-songwriter music, they collaborated with musicians Mauro Ottolini, Paolo Malacarne, and Glauco Benedetti, performing as part of the wind section on the 2022 tour of singer-songwriter Brunori SAS.
